Proxy Browser Privacy Policy
Introduction
Proxy Browser (“the App”) is a mobile application provided by Tradron FZE
(“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and
disclose information when you use the App. It is intended to comply with applicable data protection laws,
including the EU GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA.
What the App does: Proxy Browser is a web browser that can route your web browsing traffic through
our proxy infrastructure when you choose a proxy location. The App is not a video downloader, does
not offer subscriptions, and does not require Google account sign-in.
Definitions
- Personal Data: Information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Usage Data: Data collected automatically when you use the App (e.g., feature usage, session duration, diagnostics).
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID), IP address, and network info.
- Proxy Service: The proxy routing feature that can route browser traffic through our servers.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
-
Usage & Diagnostics: App interaction events (e.g., taps, screens visited),
session duration, crash logs, and performance logs to improve stability and performance.
-
Device & Network Information: Device type/model, OS version, app version,
language/locale, IP address (which may be used to approximate country/region), and network type.
-
Proxy Feature Data: Your selected proxy location/region, proxy connection state
(connected/disconnected), connection duration, and basic technical telemetry needed to operate the Proxy Service
(e.g., whether a proxy endpoint was reachable).
-
Advertising Data: If the App displays ads, advertising partners may collect information such as
Advertising ID, IP address, device info, and ad interaction signals (impressions, clicks, rewarded-ad completion).
See Advertising and Ad Partners below.
-
Local App Settings: We store certain preferences on your device (e.g., selected region,
UI settings). These are stored locally on your device.
Proxy Traffic & Server-Side Processing
When you enable the Proxy Service, your browsing traffic may be routed through our proxy servers. This means our
infrastructure will handle network connections to websites on your behalf.
-
Content of browsing traffic: We do not design the App to read or store the content of your
browsing pages. However, like any proxy, our servers will technically transmit network data as part of providing
the service.
-
Security & abuse prevention logs: To protect the service from abuse (e.g., spam, fraud,
attacks), our servers may temporarily process and/or log limited metadata such as timestamps, connection counts,
error codes, and bandwidth/throughput indicators. We use these for security, operational reliability, and to
enforce fair-use and anti-abuse rules.
No Google Account Sign-In
Proxy Browser does not require Google account sign-in. The App may use backend services to operate
the Proxy Service and to prevent abuse. If such services require an authentication token, it is handled in a way
that does not require you to log into a Google account within the App.
Advertising and Ad Partners
We may show advertisements to support the App. Third-party advertising partners and mediation platforms may collect
and use information to serve ads and measure performance. This can include:
- Device identifiers: e.g., Android Advertising ID.
- Device & network info: device model, OS, IP address (approximate location), language.
- Ad interaction data: impressions, clicks, and rewarded-ad completion events.
Depending on your region, you may be shown a consent prompt to choose personalized vs non-personalized ads.
You can also opt out of personalized ads on Android in system settings (Google Settings > Ads) and reset your Advertising ID.
How We Use Your Data
- Provide and operate the App: including proxy connection and region selection.
- Improve reliability: debugging crashes, fixing bugs, and improving performance.
- Security and abuse prevention: detecting fraud, protecting the proxy infrastructure, enforcing fair-use.
- Advertising: showing ads (and rewarded ads, if used) and measuring ad performance.
- Legal compliance: complying with lawful requests and enforcing our terms.
Data Sharing
We may share information in these situations:
- Service providers: infrastructure providers, analytics, and ad partners that help us operate the App.
- Legal reasons: when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with appropriate safeguards).
We do not sell your personal data for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may be considered
“sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain laws; you can opt out via device settings or consent controls where applicable.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described:
- Diagnostics and analytics: retained for a limited period to improve stability and performance.
- Security/abuse logs: retained for the minimum time needed to protect the service and enforce fair-use.
- Advertising data: handled primarily by advertising partners under their policies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, including HTTPS transport encryption
for communications with our backend services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data,
and to opt out of certain advertising-related data sharing. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
